If, perchance, this site is your first introduction to the work of conlanging and glossopoetry, below find links to the most useful sites online as of December 2025. I will do my best to update them as/if/when they break.
Among fora and communities I know of (there aren't many, but they're good ones):
- CBB
- ZBB - run by Mark Rosenfelder (of whom more below). Unfortunately, has suffered several debilitating bot attacks and is sometimes inaccessible.
Among websites devoted to showcasing conlangs, I have found:
- Ardalambion - Helge Fauskanger's work on summarising the chaos that is the languages and sketches of Tolkien's legendarium (and his thoughts on how to adapt the Akallabeth to film).
- Mark Rosenfelder's zompist.com
Among conworlds, I have found:
And among resources for conlangers:
- the Index Diachronica - a site that compiles sound changes. Is easily searchable, and its creators are clearly doing their best to reconcile the conflicting aims of encyclopedism and accuracy.
And conworlding resources:
- Dr Bret Devereaux's blog at acoup.blog is filled with massively informative discussion of military history and other matters which conworlders and worldbuilders of all kinds will no doubt find
- Worldbuilding Pasta
- Artifexian
- Mark Rosenfelder's zompist.com returns again to the list, this time as provider of resources; see also his excellent Planet Construction Kit.
